• Scope features end-to-endwith stakeholders (CEO, product, curriculum) rather than working from assigned tickets; extended the subscription and Stripe billing logic for the platform's Indonesian launch, introducing bundled multi-product checkout at tiered pricing.
• Built the company's first Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, exposing internal data to LLM clients so the internal curriculum team could self-serve analytics conversationally instead of filing engineering tickets.
• Initiated the codebase test infrastructure: neither frontend nor backend had coverage; introduced Cypress and Go test suites and expanded coverage from zero, establishing the safety net for AI-assisted development across the team.
• Decoupled deployment from the host OS by moving Go compilation into CI and shipping immutable prebuilt binaries. Unblocked a stalled platform migration and let the service run on half the instance class with headroom to spare.
• Shipped the platform's AI product surface: "AskCoachKyu," a tutoring agent with tool use (worksheet generation, automated grading, performance analysis), plus a reporting suite spanning parent-facing daily/weekly summaries, curriculum diagnostics with prioritised actions, and per-student proficiency and intervention reports; 4,800+ personalised reports delivered to 609 parent accounts, 85% of the parent base.
• Engineered the retrieval layer grounding recommendations in real curriculum inventory rather than based on model general knowledge (proximity-based relevance scoring with truncation to prevent context rot); and cut inference cost by extracting frontier-model reasoning from a lighter model.

• Migrated a legacy worksheet export system to the Google Docs API,eliminating $10,000 in annual licensing costs while preserving complex document formatting.
• Built a Go simulation engine forecasting student exam performance from historical data; delivered Vue.js frontends across four portals (Teacher, Student, Parent, Admin).
